During [my stay in Tanzania] I was very fortunate to spend time with Gabby and develop a very strong friendship. Gabby was a wonderful source of local knowledge and proved to be invaluable in helping us understand and experience the local culture and also in assisting us to organise our trek of Mount Kilimanjaro.

During the weeks leading up to the climb of Kilimanjaro Gabby took a sincere interest in supporting myself and my mother in our attempt to reach the summit. Gabby provided invaluable support in helping to organise the trip and then followed through with his promise to accompany myself and my mother on the trek.

Gabby's support and care of my mother during the hike was exceptional. My mother struggled significantly during the climb, and Gabby was by her side the whole time, right up until at 4,400m altitude sickness forced her to abandon her attempt at the summit. The support, sympathy and encouragement that Gabby provided was wonderful, and myself and my mother will be forever grateful.

Personally I found Gabby to be an amazing friend and an extraordinarily generous person. Gabby was so entertaining on the trek and his poetry and story telling was a wonderful highlight.

I will always be thankful for everything Gabby did for us during our travels in Tanzania and I look forward to his friendship long into the future. Gabby will be the first contact I will trust with my friends when they travel, and I would certainly recommend him to anyone else looking for a sincere, trustworthy and caring guide in Tanzania.
